Instruction set for configuring Microsoft Outlook 2000, XP



open outlook and click
Tools > E-Mail Accounts





select "View or change existing e-mail accounts"
and click next





select the email account and click on change





in this window three fields will need to be modified.
change the following fields accordingly.
substitute "domain.com" for the domain your email belongs to, for example:
the email address john123@wtconnect.com belongs to the wtconnect.com domain.
Incoming mail server (POP3):   pop.domain.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):   smtp.domain.com
User Name:   username@domain.com
where "username" is your actual username, the @domain.com is now required in this field.
after modifying the fields click Next





we're finished configuring Microsoft Outlook click Finish
