Instruction set for configuring Outlook Express




open outlook express and click
Tools > Accounts





in the pop up window click on the Mail tab at the top,
select the account and click Properties.





click on the "Servers" tab at the top of the new window.
in this window three fields will need to be modified.
substitute "domain.com" for the domain your email belongs to, for example:
the email address john123@wtconnect.com belongs to the wtconnect.com domain.
change the following fields accordingly.
Incoming mail (POP3):   pop.domain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP):   smtp.domain.com
Account name:   username@domain.com
where "username" is your actual username, the @domain.com is now required in this field.
after modifying the fields click OK
