Instruction set for configuring Mozilla Thunderbird
open thunderbird and click
Tools > Account Settings
in the pop up window click on the "Server Settings" section in the left
hand menu.
in this window two fields will need to be modified.
substitute "domain.com" for the domain your email belongs to, for
example:
the email address john123@wtconnect.com belongs to the wtconnect.com
domain.
change the following fields accordingly.
Server Name: pop.domain.com
User Name: username@domain.com
where "username" is your actual username, the @domain.com is now
required
in this field.
click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" in the left hand menu.
select your smtp account and click "Edit".
in the smaller pop-up window one thing needs to be modified.
substitute "domain.com" for the domain your email belongs to, for
example:
the email address john123@wtconnect.com belongs to the wtconnect.com
domain.
change the following fields accordingly.
Server Name: smtp.domain.com
when done click on OK in the smaller pop-up window.

start at the beginning
